SpeakEasy: MarchiGras

These very cool underground SpeakEasies to benefit the Danville Historical Society are a blast from the past! We stepped back into the 1920's era, as we celebrated Mardi Gras a little late this year (hence the name - MarchiGras). We had a Mardi Gras themed drink special, a Masquerade art auction and a king cake in addition to all the typical dancing, drinks, and debauchery that accompanies these increasingly popular Danville SpeakEasies. Be on the lookout for the next one coming in the summer months of 2013!.

SpeakEasy: Halloween!

The sequel to the July SpeakEasy to benefit the Danville Historical Society was a blast from the past! We stepped back into the 1920's era, as we celebrated Halloween the same way the gangsters and flappers would have. An evening filled with debauchery, we enjoyed splendid jazz music, danced til our feet hurt, and invited all to partake in the specific beverages that were once prohibited.

The Grand Opening of the Historic North Theatre

The 65th Anniversary of the first opening of the North Theatre was celebrated in Danville, Virginia on Saturday, August 25, 2012 with a Grand Re-Opening. So glad to finally see those neon lights back on! Check www.thenorththeatre.com for upcoming shows.
